I have seen some other reports of problems involving inverse to- many relationships, so perhaps this is the same problem?

After tinkering with the code some more and reading the other reports in more detail, I decided that this is likely the same problem that others have carefully detailed involving inverse to many relationships not being maintained. Sorry to waste people's time.
