Hi,
I have a peculiar problem with an animated gif. It animates with proper
background transparency on pre Tiger OS versions, but on Tiger we see white
sections appearing during the animation over the window background color.
It's mystifying. I took the gif and tried it on a web page with a colored
background and viewed it in Safari on 10.4.1. Looks fine. I tried creating
a test app using the default Cocoa app template in Xcode, putting just the
animated gif in the window. It works fine there too on Tiger.
The window where it isn't drawing properly contains a progress bar and
various text fields. None overlap.
Has anyone seen any problem like this? Any idea why this would happen? What
to do about it?
This problem does not occur before Tiger.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
