Flickering buttons?

I've had a report from one user of GasLight, complaining that the OK button in my Cocoa window rapidly disappears & reappears. I've got a timer which continuously updates the values of a bunch of sliders & dropdowns, but nothing touches the OK button. I don't have any other technical details to go on, so this is kinda a long shot, but has anyone seen anything like this happening?
