Robot project - volunteers wanted (Seattle area)

Looking for a few people who would like to become involved in a robot project, the core code is to be written in Cocoa.

I am creating the core mechanical & electronics in Edmonds (Seattle), Washington, so local will be more fun, however I would welcome contributions from afar.

My hands are full getting the mechanics & electronics to work, providing a few sensors and the core program to get it moving (plus making it cute). Based on the power of a Mac Mini as its brain there will be tremendous amounts of power that would be unexploited. Think in terms of what could be added given the power of a Mac Mini as the heart of the project. Some of what I would be interested in seeing added might be:

Bonjour for remote control.
Vision recognition.
Any and all types of sensors (for you hardware types).
Anyone into AI?

What thoughts do you have on how to exploit it?

This will probably be done as a side project of the Seattle Xcoders, however that is not final.

We have our first sponsor and we are looking for additional sponsors, want your logo on the case?

- Long live the Banana 2005!
