Looking for a few people who would like to become involved in a robot
project, the core code is to be written in Cocoa.
I am creating the core mechanical & electronics in Edmonds (Seattle),
Washington, so local will be more fun, however I would welcome
contributions from afar.
My hands are full getting the mechanics & electronics to work,
providing a few sensors and the core program to get it moving (plus
making it cute). Based on the power of a Mac Mini as its brain there
will be tremendous amounts of power that would be unexploited. Think in
terms of what could be added given the power of a Mac Mini as the heart
of the project. Some of what I would be interested in seeing added
might be:
Bonjour for remote control.
Vision recognition.
Any and all types of sensors (for you hardware types).
Anyone into AI?
What thoughts do you have on how to exploit it?
-----
This will probably be done as a side project of the Seattle Xcoders,
however that is not final.

We have our first sponsor and we are looking for additional sponsors,
want your logo on the case?
- Long live the Banana 2005!
