Hi Rakka - you need to set a custom view on the NSStatusItem. In your
custom view, in repsonse to a mouse click, you can display a window
instead of a menu.
The default NSStatusItem view is (as far as I know) only set up to do
menus.

Hi,
I have searched for a long time, and still have not come across
anything useful. Is there any way for a window to slide down from the
menu bar (the statusitem corner) when I click my StatusItem, instead
of a menu being brought down? I have tried researching custom menu
looks, but I have given that idea up, as I couldn't find any examples
of any sort.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
