How do you know you have a Universal Binary? I've got my stuff to
compile but Command-I doesn't say anything about architecture so
how can I tell if it worked? is there any additional package
contents I can look for?
If you use file on a universal binary it should say something like
Foo: Mach-o fat file with 2 architectures
Foo (for architecture ppc): Mach-O executable ppc
Foo (for architecture i386): Mach-O executable i386
or lipo -detailed_info Foo
