well... am not that sure. Frankly, I can understand that referencing
a *yet uknown* protocol does not work quite all right :)
In other words -- ensure the compiler *first* gets "@protocol Foo",
and *then* any "@interface ... <Foo>" (or, if used at all,
"id<Foo> ..."). I think it would work all right :)
Or have I overlooked anything important? It is possible...
