mounting volumes programmatically

Hi,

Is it possible, and if so how, to programmatically mount a volume? I use Bonjour to find hard disks and other volumes connected to other computers. Now I would like to be able to mount that volume automatically. I have the IP address of the computer and the mount point (on that computer's file system).
