I agree very strongly with all of these. If there is some way to file an enhancement request for these things I would love to do so, and I would encourage others to do so. Possibly the greatest  advantage of Mac OS over other desktop OSes is the paramount importance given to the user experience. This should be maintained in the ways that you suggest.
