Does anyone know of an ODBC or JDBC Cocoa framework or library that would enable me to build a client app for connecting to databases such as mySql or sql-server?

1. MacSQL: http://www.rtlabs.com/macsql/ supports both databases.

2. Webobjects (included with XCode 2.1) allows you to build Cocoa EOF applications, though they are not officially supported.  Create a new project of type Cocoa Enterprise Objects Application.  For a tutorial, see:

3. For MySQL only, you can also use the C API, or check out http://mysql-cocoa.sourceforge.net/ for a cocoa wrapper around this API.
