NSTextView + CoreData: data or attributedString binding?

  • Subject: NSTextView + CoreData: data or attributedString binding?
  • From: Jim Correia <email@hidden>

I'm using a rich (allows graphics and fonts) text view in a CoreData application. The data is ultimately stored as a binary attribute on the entity.

Are there reasons why I might want to use the attributedString binding (with the appropriate value transformer) over the data binding directly?

Thanks,
Jim
