I think this was the problem. I was trying to connect
"myTableView" to the outer ring, which is a scroller. Connecting
to the INNER focus ring connects to the TableView.
Is there anyway in IB to know what you're trying to connect to
(what type the focus ring is)? Note that I'm not asking how to
figure out what types are in the hierarchy, but what type the focus
ring that I'm connecting to is.
IB 2.5.1 automatically does this (there's a gray placard in the
corner of the target focus ring that says what the type is) - I
believe it's part of XCode 2.1.
