Hello,
I do not understand how the "deny" delete rule works. From the
example in the Apple documentation, I thought that a deny rule
in a relationship
A <----->> B (or A <-----> B)
means that if I attempt to delete an instance of A that is in
relationship with an instance of B then this attempt fails and
nothing is changed.
However, this does not seem to be the case. I created a small
project with two entities A and B and a relationship as shown
above. And I *can* delete A -- but when I save, I obtain an
error message "Items cannot be deleted". Is there a way to tell
the CoreData framework to disallow the deletion at all? I mean:
I do not want to be able to delete A but want to get an immediate
error message and not a delayed "could not save" error message.
Thanks,
Kaspar
