Window not autosaving to User Defaults

I have a window setup in IB with a auto save name, however the window's position is never saved to the user defaults. Oddly ever other window that I have set to auto save is being saved.

The only difference I can think of is that this window has a custom NSWindowController set for it and a delegate, I'm not currently overriding any methods though.
