Just upgraded to Xcode 2.1 and suddenly I can't debug any more.
All I'm doing is adding breakpoints, nothing fancy.
I hope you realize that it's impossible for us to give you any
input if you don't describe your problem...
Please check the list archives for the more common problems with
debugging (such as trying to debug an optimized binary).
OK, let's try again.
I was debugging happily with Xcode 1.5, using breakpoints in the code.
I upgraded to Xcode 2.1.
While debugging the execution does not halt at breakpoints, as it did
before.
I realise this is very brief but I thought that if this was a common
problem and could be fixed easily then someone could tell me. If not
I will plough through the archives, etc.
Is there an Xcode bug database or something similar I could check
for stuff like this?
Apples bug database is not public.
I was hoping for something that would list commonly found problems
and suggest solutions, for situations like this where something seems
obviously broken but there must be a fix or nobody would be able to
get any work done. If I have a unique setup problem then I agree that
it's my job to sort it out, but as far as I know I have a pure
'vanilla' installation.
Thanks for the reply.
