Wait some seconds

Hi everybody,

in my app, after a notification, I'd love to wait some seconds before
doing somethin' (without blocking modally the app)
Example:

 if([sender object]==myOutlet)
    {
	 <wait some seconds>;
	return
    }
    else
    {
	NSLog(@"I don't want to wait");
	return;
    }

How can I do this?
Thanks a lot.
