Implementing Safari's incomplete download behavior

  • Subject: Implementing Safari's incomplete download behavior

Hi everyone,

I'm writing an app that needs to have behavior similar to what Safari does with incomplete downloads: If you open them from the Finder, they open in Safari and resume downloading. I've read a lot about document-based apps, but I think this may not be a good way to implement this. Is there some method that can get sent to my app's controller when it receives an open-file request, or do I indeed need to make it a document-based app?

Ben
