Spotlight bindings example?

Hi,

Has anyone written any example code for using bindings to hook up an NSSearchField. an NSMetadataQuery and an NSTableView?

It sounds as though NSMetadataQuery is designed to make this straightforward, but according to Apple's documentation, "Before your application interacts with the returned results, it must first temporarily disable updates of the results." Being a newcomer to bindings, I'm not quite sure what this entails.
