Preventing New Document on Open

Hi,


applicationShouldHandleReopen:has​VisibleWindows: works great for handling whether to create a new document or not when the application is reactivated, but how do you handle it when the application first starts up? I can think of some hackish ways of doing it, but they seem icky.
