Stranded in a NSTextField...

I have a window with 3 objects....
a subclass of NSImageView
a NSColorWell
a NSTextField
I use mouseDown, mouseUp and mouseDragged events to
read a pixel color and then set the color of the
ColorWell. This works fine...however when I select the
TextField, type and then hit enter or return key, I'm
left with the blinking cursor at the end of what I've
typed. Help!
