Hi,
I suspect that the correct answer to this question is "file a
feature request on radar" but I wanted to make sure before doing so.
I'm wanting to steal the interface from Address Book - basically I
want what I'm going to completely incorrectly call NSDatabaseFields
- the little controls that allow you to type in your phone number,
or pop up a menu of things to do with said phone number etc.
Is there a cocoa widget for this, or is it custom control/bug report
time?
I would tend to believe this is just a NSTextView with some custom
containers.
That's an interesting idea - my best guess had been that it was an
NSScrollView with a blank container view which in turn contained a
number of custom sub-controls (that create the text field/menu/form
field behavior)
This was actually discussed in the list a couple of months back, and if
I recall correctly it was indeed an NSTextView. Check the archives for
more details.
