I have an application written in cocoa and I'm wondering if it's possible to add the capability of sending emails.
I've heard about NSMailDelivery but I couldn't find any information about it in my XCode (1.5) help view.

Can you tell me if I am on th right way or if there are better ways to implement email sending in an application?

Thanks in advance,
Simone

Call the command line mail app, pipimg the mail text into mail. For an example on using pipes and command line tools from Cocoa, see Anguish, buck,Yachtman: Cocoa Programming , from Sams Publishing, ISBN 0-672-32230-7

I've checked up the mail doc's . It don't have an option for setting the sender
of the message to anyting alse than your Mac OS X account name. An option that might
work better is to use an Applescript to mail the message via the GUI Mail App.
It can be embedded within an executable perl tool, stored in your applications
executable folder.
