Not at all. Some of our older titles (the ones that work on both OS 9 and OS
X) use it. It works great.
Just because it's not the latest and greatest doesn't automatically make it
deprecated :)

Conversely, if it's old and crufty you shouldn't do new development using it ;-)

Hey, if the man really wants threads he can schedule by himself, the Thread Manager will work just fine. It's silly to knock a technology just because it's not brand new.


Anyway, NeXTstep has been around what, 15, 17 years? Those NSViews aren't spring chickens. :P
