If you build on 10.3, linking against the 10.3 libraries, these kind

or under the 10.2 SDK?
Since Tiger is right around the bend this concerns me. I have only one
Mac to write code and test on. Is there a Virtual PC-like solution for
the Mac that would allow me to keep around an image of my 10.3 system
to test with? I have been (unsuccesfully) looking for something like
this for months.
Just create multiple partitions on your disk or use external storage or
a partition on external storage to hold various installs of the
operating system. Then just use the startup disk preference to select
which one to run (or hold down the option key when you boot your
system).
For example...
[G5:~] shawnce% diskutil list
/dev/disk0
#: type name size identifier
0: Apple_partition_scheme *233.8 GB disk0
1: Apple_partition_map 31.5 KB disk0s1
2: Apple_Driver43 28.0 KB disk0s2
3: Apple_Driver43 28.0 KB disk0s3
4: Apple_Driver_ATA 28.0 KB disk0s4
5: Apple_Driver_ATA 28.0 KB disk0s5
6: Apple_FWDriver 256.0 KB disk0s6
7: Apple_Driver_IOKit 256.0 KB disk0s7
8: Apple_Patches 256.0 KB disk0s8
9: Apple_HFS Internal_250GB_1 233.7 GB disk0s9
/dev/disk1
#: type name size identifier
0: Apple_partition_scheme *233.8 GB disk1
1: Apple_partition_map 31.5 KB disk1s1
2: Apple_HFS Tiger DP 9.9 GB disk1s3
3: Apple_HFS TestOS_2 9.9 GB disk1s5
4: Apple_HFS TestOS_3 9.9 GB disk1s7
5: Apple_HFS TestOS_4 9.9 GB disk1s9
6: Apple_HFS Extra 193.6 GB disk1s11
