Really? When was it? I don't remember this, and I checked my NeXTSTEP 3
ref man, and sure enough there is no get.
I'm pretty sure that this a Java (maybe coming from C++) idiom (it
certainly shows the lack of taste of the Java designers in my opinion).
I would say that "get" is in KVC to placate Java users, and because KVC
predates bindings, remember EOF. I would be ready to bet that it was
introduced in KVC when WebObjects moved to Java.
