This response seems to be a mixed message and one which contravenes standard responses from Apple engineers. We are told constantly to "file a bug report" and "it's okay if it's a duplicate because we use duplicates when prioritizing a reported bug." But you seem to be saying here: don't bother it's a duplicate.
