since, it's the third time in a row that i don't get any answer to my questions (did i even ever get an answer btw?) on the list i think i must write very hard problems... or very dumb questions (the second one being the most probable).
Perhaps i didn't follow some hidden posting rules ?!
Or are all the answers misteriously lost on their way to my computer ??

Sorry, i don't want to be such a *** head. But, each day, i read clever and dumb mails on this list which are, most of the time (90%), answered. So am i an exception ??

If i'm totally off-topic on this list, please give me links to places where i could get more support !

Your questions seem quite on topic, and reasonably well phrased. I am surprised you haven't gotten any answers. I personally don't know the answers to your questions. I would guess you just got unlucky. Once I had a question which went unanswered for a day or two. I just asked it again, in case it got lost in the many emails in this list, and someone answered it the second time. So I would suggest ask, wait one or two days, and bring it up again if you hear nothing in the meantime. If no-one answers, it might simply mean they either:
a) don't know the answer, and they don't really care to think about it.
b) don't know the answer, and they don't have time to think about it.
c) other reasons.

As per your last question, I would suggest you send more specific information with regards to the error you are getting, like the stack at the moment, more of you code etc. You might get a better answer then.

Pierre

Sorry I can't be more helpful. Good luck.
