To do this, you probably should check whether the application was launched a special way... not sure.


Anyway, personally I think that highlighting automatically the first occurrence is *not* worth the effort: all the user needs to get the result is just one keypress (Cmd-g), so there is no point in making this action much easier :)

It would be somewhat different if you wanted to perform some more complex action, based on the search string.
