I'm quiet puzzled here...
I've always detached a new thread to run NSAppleScript scripts under Panther (and it always worked fine), I don't remember seeing before this warning in the NSAppleScript documentation prior to Tiger. I don't know if something has changed about that in Tiger.
I haven't tested yet my application under Tiger, but anyway I don't want to be a bad citizen of Mac OS X...
