Possible NSTokenField bug

  • Subject: Possible NSTokenField bug

I've replicated this in as small a project as possible. Basically what happens is if you paste a comma-separated string into an NSTokenField, like this one, excluding quotes: "Richard Stallman, Roland Pesch, Stan Shebs", then the token field fails to validate, no matter how many times you press return

If, however, you actually hand type the names and press return, it works fine. Also, if you paste the above string followed by:

<space> <return> <backspace <backspace> <return>

then it works fine

Can anyone else replicate this or do I just have a weird configuration?

Example code can be found here: http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~tbir905/ TokenTest.tar.bz2 (25k)

simply follow the above instructions and watch the console log

cheers,
Tom
