NSWorkspace POST to URL ?

I'm trying to duplicate some functionality from a Windows app I'm porting. I can use NSWorkspace openURL to have a browser window open with my URL. The windows app interacts with a web page through a POST, though. It sets up the POST fields and tells IE to open a browser window with it.

I can't find a straight forward way to do with from Cocoa. Any ideas ?
