No. This is the new way... In the way-back machine [10.1 era], you'll find
Apple engineers specifically recommending separating metadata from data,
which is why a source code file will open in location A with size X when
project 1 is open, but will open in location B with size Y when project 2 is
open...
It's all about the L.C.D.
