Is it worth filing a request enhancement to have the NSFileManager API
being fully compatible with Mac OS X or is it already in the pipeline?
For instance, I would really appreciate being able to get access to the
Finder Info related to a file without having to use the Carbon API and
writing 10-20 lines of code to do so.
In Mac OS X 10.0, I can understand I couldn't do that as it was the
public beta release.
But in Mac OS X 10.4, this kind of features is still not available yet.

A stupid developer who does not care about the fancy new APIs but uses
the old ones.
