Ye gods, I can't get over the number of people who think I'm senile because
I remembered this as green - yes, to all and sundry, its actually blue now
that I'm sitting in front of it. Thats what comes of having a day job on
Windows, and a hobby on OSX...
Now for all of you who think its only for making TOOLBARs appear/disappear,
open a finder window and click it. Look, the SIDEBAR disappears as well.
Thats in 10.4.1
(Since the Finder is probably watching for the toolbar to be made visible,
and adjusting the sidebar part of the display as well, its obviously not the
same as making a drawer appear/disappear in code)
Yes, I haven't pinned down any other apps that do it, and its quite likely
that I'm remembering aberrant applications that have since wised up.
So, I promise, I won't be offending any GUI purists by having that control
do anything other than what well-behaved apps do.
