I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to implement an action button/menu - many apps now have them - Finder, Mail in Tiger and a few other apps. The button usually has a cog icon.

I've added a button and assigned a context menu assigned to the menu outlet - but of course the problem with this is - it is only activated by ctrl-clicking and the placement is off.

Does anyone have any ideas?
