Order of NIB loading

  • Subject: Order of NIB loading

The reason I wanted to draw up connections between non IB classes and IB classes, is that I have a class instance which is getting an init event, before the other class has had a chance to load itself from the nib.

Now, my idea to work around this, is to connect my NSDocument, with this over-quick class. This way, I can call a "properlyInit" method after my NSDocument has been properly loaded from the nib.

However, my NSDocument is being created even though it does not exist in the nib. This is confusing me actually. While it is a nice thing that IB is making this easy on me by creating me an NSDocument, I have no idea where this NSDocument comes from or how to get at it from IB.
