In general, no, they won't. You have to specify how they get their content...
    I thought setting their managedObjectContext binding did that.

Ummm, no, all that does is specify the managed object context...

With the fist one, for it to display the extent of the entity, that is all I had to do.

What other options are set for the controller...?
