I just downloaded the latest pictureSharing and pictureSharingBrowser
examples from the apple site.
it seems that a Panther (10.3.8) browser hangs when trying to read data
from a Tiger pictureSharing service.
these two apps work together when both are on the same platform or when
the browser is on Tiger.
but not when the browser is Panther and the service is Tiger
this is the line which appears to be hanging:
if(connect(socketToRemoteServer, (struct sockaddr *)socketAddress,
sizeof(*socketAddress)) == 0)
Should Bonjour and Rendezvous be totally compatible?
and where did the cocoa.mamasam pages go?
