I believe GNUStep could be a great place to start programming on the Intel platform. I mainly focused on .NET (C# and VB.NET, as well as ASP.NET) but I dabbled in GNUStep and am beginning Cocoa. There isn't a whole lot of information published but the lists help me out a great deal. Many people have helped me out with great resources... Many of which have sparked my learning into the cocoa language.

Thanks to Apple for making great products, providing the software, and these lists...

I guess if we are talking about Mac OS X version, then most likely
answer will be YES.

Why guess? Just have a look: cd /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/MacOS otool -L iTunes

The result - no Cocoa framework. It's Carbon. Which makes perfect
sense, given that it's basically an update of a "classic" MacOS app.

What about Windows version?

It runs on Windows 2000, which would imply that it isn't based
on .NET. Probably MFC, or whatever Microsoft is calling their Visual C
++ kit these days.

Does Apple have "Cocoa for Windows" API?

They did, once upon a time, although that was before it was called "Cocoa".

Any chance they will release it?

Who knows? Who cares?

Was there an actual Cocoa programming question in any of this?
