Data-loss issue when quitting a CoreData-document-based application

I'm experiencing a data-loss issue when quitting a CoreData-document-based
application.

So as to duplicate the issue on the Apple sample codes:
- launch EventManager
- create a new event
- type an event id
- choose file->quit without saving before
- click on the save… button
- no save sheet appears!

or
- launch OutlineEdit
- create a new note
- type some content
- choose file->quit without saving before
- click on the save… button
- no save sheet appears!

Bug ID# 4332555

Does anyone has a workaround to this issue?

Thanks,
Bruno Blondeau
