Yesterday I have posted message about problems I am having with CFUserNotificationCreate and launchd (http://www.cocoabuilder.com/ archive/message/cocoa/2005/11/7/149700). One of observation I have made is that if you "ssh" to localhost, then "CFUserNotificationCreate" stop working (even if you ssh as yourself or root). Digging in this direction, I discovered that same is true for "DO". I have simple client/server pair of applications which works perfectly under "normal" conditions, but when you try to run client (which is command line tool) via ssh localhost, it stops working. Client can not find server. Can anyone explain what is going on? It is still possible to launch applications from ssh session ( like open /Applications/xxx works as it should). And "env" produce the same set of variables. What is the difference?
