Character for Glyph?

Howdy,

How can I get the character code for a specific Glyph ID for a specific font?

I want the character code that I can add to an attributed string to
generate the glyph that matches the specific Glyph ID.

I have an old TT font that has some glyphs in it that I want to use. I can
see them in Font Book or if I dump the glyphs using CGContextShowGlyphs. I
can't figure out what character code to use for a few of these glyphs.

This font doesn't work properly with Keyboard Viewer or the Special
Characters window.

Thanks,
Brian
