You need to execute the actual executable (e.g. /Applications/ MyApp.app/MacOS/MyApp) not the bundle folder. Then it'll work. You could try creating a symlink to that file in /bin to make it run.


NSApplicationMain requires a bundle. If you want to do a Foundation Tool, that implies you won't use any AppKit stuff. To do that, just write your own ANSI C main() function that creates your application controller object (what would have been your app delegate in AppKit) and runs some methods on it.
