About RTF and Arial

  • Subject: About RTF and Arial

Hi everyone,

I have to open rtf files created with windows on the mac.
It works in many cases, but not for the arial font, my text displays itself in the port's font...

Any idea?

I've tried to make a rtf document with arial in TextEdit, when I dump the file, all the Arial charsets have been replaced by Helvetica.
So maybee I should scan the original rtf data and replace arial by helvetica on the fly before passing it to my attributed string.

I wonder if there is no other (better) solution...

Cheers,

Tristan
