Use NSViewAnimation. See the "iSpend" demo app (search developer.apple.com) for an example.

Hello,
Is there a method to apply a fade out effect (opaque ---> ---->
invisible) to an entire View content? I should to use an NSTimer
but...where is the method to set the alphaValue of a view?
