2-Level Namespace

  • Subject: 2-Level Namespace

After I use the Reducer tutorial as a guide to create a new IB palette, my new palette appears in IB, but the palette created by Reducer (via Collapsible Box) is no longer visible in IB. I believe I'm encountering a namespace problem.

My new palette is a mini version of Collapsible Box in that it just contains the animating tab view part of Collapsible Box. My new palette has a different name and so do my classes. The method names in Collapsible Box and my new palette are the same.

Would a name space problem cause the Collapsible Box palette not to appear? Why wouldn't a two-level namespace solve this problem?

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.3 and Xcode 2.2.

Thank you for your help.
