NSArrayController predicate not working

  • Subject: NSArrayController predicate not working
  • From: Niko Matsakis <email@hidden>

I am attempting to set a predicate for an NSArrayController; I do this in the Interface Builder by typing into the Inspector Window for the controller (section Attributes), and clicking "Set Predicate".

My predicate seems to have no effect! I am currently using the predicate "1 == 0", which I assume will never be true, but nonetheless I see all the items appearing.

Any ideas?

I do not have "clear predicates on insertion" set, nor do I have filterPredicate bound to anything.

Sorry if this is a FAQ; it feels like I must be doing something obviously wrong, but I haven't found any answers online.
