Hi Paul,
I used to have strange issues with the "Anonymous" font in a previous
release of Xcode and now I have strange editing artifacts with the
"Bitstream Vera Sans" fixed width fonts. I guess, the Xcode team made
some optimizations that don't always work out with non-Apple fonts.
But I like my fonts better so I've learned to live with it...

There may be other combinations of letters that get 'joined' in
this way, I don't know, but switching to a different fixed-width
font removed the issue. To be clear, it's not the output
information that's correct, but the way Pro Font displays it.
