Data Entry and display using Many to Many Relationalships

  • Subject: Data Entry and display using Many to Many Relationalships

I have two entities. One entity is users. The other entity is access groups. Each user belongs to many access groups. Each access group has many users as members. What interface element should I use to allow me to enter what groups a user belongs to, or what users belong to a group? Also, what interface element do I use to display the groups a user belongs to, or what users belong to a group?

I have looked at the various interface elements but none appear to allow me to make multiple selections. I would like, for example, to enter user information and have a browser that listed all the groups where I could option click all the groups the user belongs to. On the reporting side, I want to be able to search all users records and have the display, when I select a particular user show me all the groups the user is a member of.

Any ideas will be appreciated.
