Get the installed OS country code

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a cocoa or carbon way of getting the integer value of the country code or a 2-3 character value of the country code of what the user installed the OS as. It has to work for OS 10.2.0 and above.

I was looking at CFLocal, but that is 10.3 and above, and NSLocale is 10.4 and above.
